The Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX) announced on Tuesday that it has rebranded itself as NASDAQ Dubai.
The NASDAQ OMX Group will list on the newly-named bourse on Nov. 20, the two bourses said. They also said derivatives trading would start from Wednesday on the FTSE DIFX UAE 20.
Last year, the emirate of Dubai agreed to sell 33 percent of the DIFX to NASDAQ OMX.
Last week, the bourse announced it was to add Sundays to its trading days and open earlier in the mornings.
The moves will bring trading hours for investors more in line with those of other regional exchanges.
From Monday, trading from Monday-Friday begins at 10am Dubai time, one hour and 45 minutes earlier than before.
Beginning on Nov. 23, the exchange will open on Sundays for the first time, from 10am to 2pm local time.
Soud Ba'alawy, chairman of NASDQ Dubai and director of NASDAQ OMX, said: "NASDAQ Dubai's growing ties to NASDAQ OMX's exchanges in the US and Europe in listings, markets, technology and management expertise will support its continuing expansion."
