Fujitsu Siemens donates workstations to AUB

Fujitsu Siemens have donated a number of its mid-range workstations to the new information research laboratory at American University of Beirut’s faculty of engineering.
The donation of the Celsius M460 workstations will include a one year software maintenance service with regular updates and support services provided by Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ local partner ESRI Lebanon.
“Fujitsu Siemens Computers is excited to be able to support AUB’s goal of bringing forward thinking technology to students who ultimately represent the future of innovation in the IT market,” explained Stephane Rejasse, managing director ME, Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
“Our aim is to continue to introduce products which promote quality IT education and enable university students to realize the full potential of their IT systems fueling creative advancement in our industry.”
The university has worked with several software and hardware vendors as part of efforts to make the most modern technologies available to their graduate students.
