Germany turns out in force at The Big 5

This largest-ever delegation from Germany is participating at this year's Big 5 show.
Speaking to Construction Week Bernard Walsh, managing director for organisers dmg world media said, "We have about 370 exhibiting companies from Germany this year.
"This is the first time Germany has had such a big pavilion at any show anywhere in the world. We're very proud of it."
Germany's trade with the GCC states has doubled since 2000 to more than US $17 billion (AED62 billion) while Germany's bilateral trade with the UAE alone exceeds $10 billion.
German exhibitors will be showcasing a wide range of products and services, including air conditioning and refrigeration, bathrooms, sanitary ware and ceramics, building and construction, cleaning and maintenance, glass and metal, marble and machinery and water technology and environment.
Among high-level officials in the German delegation will be Christa Thoben, Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
