Damiani S.p.A., the flagship company of the group active in creating, making and distributing high-end jewels and designs in Italy and abroad, has opened its boutique at The Dubai Mall.

The split-level, 200m² boutique is located opposite the Bloomingdales site on the ground floor of the mall, including a spacious VIP room on the upper level.

The boutique, opened together with exclusive local franchise partner Al Tayer Insignia, will carry a selection of the brand’s most iconic fine jewellery lines for both men and women, including the D.Side collection, co-designed by Damiani and Brad Pitt.

Al Tayer Insignia is the largest luxury retailer in the Middle East. It is part of Al Tayer Group, a UAE-based diversified business conglomerate. Al Tayer Insignia represents over 30 of the world’s most renowned luxury brands and operates 62 stores in the region.

The new flagship store follows the concept developed by Antonio Citterio, an internationally famous Italian architect who has already designed numerous Damiani boutiques throughout the world, emphasising further the Italian quality of the brand by using quality materials including pallisander wood, amber glass and bronzed brass.

“The opening of this third boutique in the Middle East, following BurJuman, Dubai in September 2007 followed by Kuwait City, represents our strong desire to continue growing abroad and in the Middle East”, stressed Guido Damiani. We are planning other openings in this area to cover a market that is of undoubted interest to our sector,” said Guido Damiani, President and CEO of the Group.

With more than 700 employees, the Damiani Group is active in Italy and the main world markets with its own operative affiliates and manages 39 direct points of sale and 35 more in franchising located on the main world international fashion streets.
