TechnoPark, a Dubai World company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Korea Venture Industry Association (KOVA) that will see an exchange of knowledge related to technological projects.
Both parties will advise on business opportunities and best practice models on projects related to information technology, biotechnology and nanotechnology.
"We greatly admire the success of Korean IT and bio venture firms and Korea's venture business fostering policy. By collaborating with Korean venture companies we hope to boost our technology-related industrial development,” said Hamad Al Hashemi, MD of TechnoPark after signing the agreement with Jun Dae Yul, vice chairman of KOVA.
KOVA is a non-profit organization that represents 20,000 venture companies in Korea.
“We are establishing a cutting-edge business park that will serve as a regional hub of sustainable technology and scientific innovation. Extending the space to international industry leaders who are pioneering technologies is key to success of the business hub," Hashemi added.
Based near Jebel Ali Port, TechnoPark concentrates on management of environmental resources and development of alternative and efficient energy resources.
