Dubai-based airline Emirates is continuing its flights to Mumbai despite the attacks which killed 101 people.
“Currently our flights to and from Mumbai are operating as per schedule. We will continue to closely monitor the situation,” an Emirates spokesperson told Arabian Business on Thursday.
Indian Airlines and Etihad Airways will also continue operating their flights to Mumbai on schedule.
Etihad said flights to the Indian city will be delayed up to five hours as the airline reduces the on-ground time at the airport.
“There are no flights cancelled, but for the next four days we will reduce the on-ground time of our flights at the Mumbai Airport,” Thomas Clarke of Etihad Airways told UAE daily Gulf News.
“For this the departure of our flights to Mumbai will be delayed for five hours from Abu Dhabi. We have been keeping our passengers informed of the timings and changes.
"In addition to this on Friday and Saturday we will be operating the A3-30 Airbus instead of A3-20. Because A3-30 will accommodate 200 plus passengers.”
