Enterprise software and services company Sybase Products Middle East has tied down a partnership agreement with iDecisions.
Sybase, which focuses on the managing and mobilising of information, reveals that iDecisions has been brought in to promote its data warehousing solutions to companies across the GCC and in particular in Saudi Arabia.
“iDecisions is focused on providing solutions and implementation services in the business intelligence and data warehousing space,” said Imran Quraishi, director of services and international business at iDecisions. “We try to understand our customers’ needs and recommend solutions using products that meet their requirements. Besides consultancy, we also provide implementation services to our customers,” he added.
The solutions provider cites Sybase as one such vendor that meets expectations and gives the example of Sybase IQ enhancing the performance of customers' existing data warehouse without the need to replace it.
“We chose to promote Sybase IQ along with our other solutions for its superior performance and because it fulfills a critical component in our portfolio,” continued Quraishi. “The processing power of Sybase IQ is technically far superior, and it is a more complete solution for a data warehouse in comparison to other competitive products.”
Hisham Malak, marketing and channel manager at Sybase Products Middle East, says that Sybase is in need of partners that can navigate through complicated end-user segments.
“Sybase is always looking for partners that understand the complexities of different verticals, where sector-specific knowledge is essential for addressing issues,” said Malak. “iDecisions has developed expertise from its extensive domain competence in the various sectors.”
iDecisions originates from India but the firm also maintains subsidiary offices in the UAE and the main product focus areas of its portfolio include business intelligence, business objective, ETL development and data warehousing.
