Computerlinks Middle East will supply products from GFI to Net Access Communications after the latter was confirmed as a sub-distributor for the Pakistan market.
Net Access, a managed IP services and systems integration outfit, will work with Computerlinks’ Middle East team in order to deliver e-mail and security software to resellers in the country. The tie-up will also mean that integrators have access to stronger levels of pre- and post-sales support.
Karachi-based Net Access will offer the full suite of GFI software, backed up by Computerlinks, formerly known as Fusion Distribution.
“Computerlinks Middle East has one of the strongest security channels to date in the region and we look forward to establishing a stronger GFI presence in Pakistan with Network Access and in doing so giving more value to our resellers,” stated managing director Lee Reynolds.
John Spoor, product manager for GFI at Computerlinks in the Middle East, which also has operations in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, believes the tie-up will lead to greater penetration of the nascent software market in Pakistan.
“We are very happy to appoint a partner who clearly knows and understands their market and have consistently been the number one GFI partner in Pakistan over the past three years,” he said.

This is great news for Pakistan! In a time when there is accelerating demand of security solutions and communications, this announcement will help to tap the company tap a HUGE market through NetAccess. Providing more support and integration is the way to grab a huge chunk of the market. In fact, it's the only way to make any long term progress!
