Dubai's biggest electronics retailer Sharaf DG opened its new store at the Dubai Mall on its opening day, hot on the heels of the launch of its first outlet outside the UAE in Bahrain.
The company now intends to open its concept store Sharaf DG 4U in the Mankhool area of Dubai. The three stores will take the total retail space owned by Sharaf DG up to 230,000ft².
Nilesh Khalkho, CEO, Sharaf DG said the Dubai Mall store, at 22,000ft² and located in the Electronics' Zone on the second level, stands out with its new ‘touch and feel display' retail concept.
The open display encourages well-informed purchases, by allowing customers to play with real models of cameras, cell phones and mp3 players.
Sharaf DG 4U will showcase only the fastest moving electronic and IT products across all categories, rather than the whole range, and the 5,000 sq ft² store will focus on hot deals.
