The brand has now called out for girls across the region to visit www.lifecantwait.com and post their Life Can't Wait moments, with the ten winners sharing the most inspiring stories to spend a day with Fares and one having the chance to become the new Sunsilk icon for the Arab world.

Fares studied musicology at the National Conservatory of Music, before signing her first record deal in 2003 and she has since released three albums.

"Myriam symbolises the power of expression and the realisation that her dreams are achievable through courage and confidence, the realisation that, quite simply, life can't wait," she said. According to Sharma, the campaign is the result of "global movement to inspire girls everywhere to seize the day, live life to the fullest and gain great confidence from great hair."
