Value added distribution outfit Adaox has been brought on board by unified threat management (UTM) vendor Cyberoam as wholesale partner for the Middle East.
The vendor has entrusted Adaox with its entire range of UTM solutions which are targeted at channel players specialising in security. Neo Neophytou, managing director of Adaox Middle East, says Cyberoam — a vendor that is relatively new to the Middle East market — should sufficiently complement its existing range of security names.
“Adaox has already established a strong security channel in the region and the addition of quality UTM devices to our portfolio only widens the scope of value that we bring to our customers and channel partners,” asserted Neophytou.
The distributor has been notable for its success in the Middle East market with the ESET NOD32 and other smart security products and it will now set about ensuring that Cyberoam’s UTM solutions enjoy the same exposure among its network of channel partners.
The vendor recently introduced a series of identity-based UTM appliances which it hopes will meet what it describes as the growing demand in the SME sector for solutions with high return on investment. For Cyberoam, the sign-up with Adaox broadens its market reach as it tries to stamp its presence in the security-focused channel in the region.
"Cyberoam has a strong presence in the Middle East market. I am sure Adaox’s strong channel base and domain expertise will help us extend our reach in the network security market," claimed Harish Chib, VP of new business development at Cyberoam.
