Agencies move into new Beirut offices

The Holding Group has opened its new offices in Beirut after its previous location was gutted by fire in February this year.

The marketing communication group's Tabaris 812 premises were destroyed after protestors set fire to the Danish Embasssy following the publication by a Danish newspaper of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed. THG's offices were located in the same building.

Talal El Makdessi, CEO of THG, said: "The fire and destruction that took place last February did not kill the passion and confidence of the 96 talented people who work for THG in Lebanon.

"The undying spirit of the company rose above the ashes, as Lebanon has several times."

The new offices in Jisr El Basha will house advertising agencies Team Y&R and Intermarkets, PR firms Asda'a and Polaris, and media agency Mediaedge:cia.
