I(TS)² qualifies to provide PCI assessment

IT Security Training & Solutions I(TS)2 has become the first Qualified Security Assessor for the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council in Saudi Arabia.

The qualification will allow I(TS)2 to provide assessment services to banks, merchants, card processors and other organizations that store process or transmit cardholder data to ensure compliance with the global PCI standards.

Assessor status will complement I(TS)2’s other services and solutions around the PCI standard, which is becoming increasingly important to the card industry. The company offers turnkey PCI network and web application scanning and self-assessment solutions with the QualysGuard PCI tool, along with PCI compliant solutions from vendors such as ArcSight, Citrix, Cisco, Juniper, SafeNet and Tripwire to protect critical data and systems.

This achievement should bring national pride and hopefully more support from the finance and banking sector,” said Samer Omar, general manager of I(TS)2.
