Dubai documentary will showcase UAE developments

DU DOCUMENTARY: Emirates Revealed will showcase all of the UAE's landmarks and developments.

A documentary to showcase the UAE’s landmarks and developments is to be made by telecom services company du in collboration with Discovery Studios, it was announced on Tuesday.

The show entitled ‘Emirates Revealed’ will explore the UAE’s ongoing residential and commercial projects and feature Emirates Palace Hotel and Burj Dubai, while bullfighting in Fujeirah and Ras Al Khaimah’s dhow boat building are also likely to appear.

Several figures will be interviewed for the programme including Dubai World chairman Sultan bin Sulayem and Sheikha Lubna bint Qasimi, UAE minister of Foreign Trade.

The programme is expected to premiere later this year both locally and worldwide and will be crafted in partnership with production company Discovery Studios.

“The UAE is a beautiful country with a fascinating history, breathtaking locales and cutting-edge projects,” said Chris Finnegan, Discovery World’s vice president of communications.

“Our aim is to provide the ultimate immersive experience, bringing viewers straight to the heart of the UAE like never before.”

Yasmeen Stewart, CEO of business development company Image Maker, will be an executive producer on the documentary.

“Emirates Revealed is only one of many projects that are now being created to stimulate the UAE economy on a global scale,” Stewart said.

“Our projects are showcasing the UAE to the world.”

Du also said'Emirates Revealed' would be shot in high-definition and available to its subscribers and audiences in the US.

They should start airing the teasers and then trailors later on in all the cineplexes and TV channels of hub cities around the world.
