Aujan Industries Company, the largest privately-owned beverage and confectionery company in the GCC, announced on Monday it had beaten its target in 2008 of reaching $500m in revenue within five years across five different brands.
Revenue for the Saudi Arabian company increased by 24 percent in 2008, it said in a release, citing its global expansion, marketing strategy, and effective distribution network as reasons for the result.
Aujan, whose brands include Vimto, Barbican and its flagship brand Rani, established its ‘555 strategy’ in 2004, which set an aim of achieving $500m in revenue across five brands within five years.
Established in 1905, Aujan Industries is one of the top 100 companies in Saudi Arabia, with over 2,200 employees.
