Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is to launch flights to three new Indian destinations over the next few days.
The airline will operate three flights a week to Lucknow, starting on March 28, two flights a week to Bangalore from March 30, and four flights a week to Kozhikode, starting March 31, it was reported on Thursday.
“The additions affirm the continuous increase in air travel to this part of the world,” said Abdullah Bin Mushabbab Al-Ajhar, Saudia vice president for Public Relations in comments published by the Saudi Gazette.
Saudia did not release the detailed schedules but said the flights would serve passengers from Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.
Including the new routes, Saudi SAA now reaches eight cities in India.
Saudia carried 334,251 passengers and lifted 14,880,336kg of cargo out of India in 2008.
