Harvard Medical School to build new Dubai training centre

Harvard Medical School Dubai Centre Institute for Postgraduate Education and Research (HMSDC) has announced it has signed an agreement with Al Naboodah Contracting Company to build a new facility.
Serving as HMSDC’s permanent home, the 350,000 square feet building will feature a 340-seat auditorium, teaching space, a simulation centre and educational resources, HMSDC said in a statement on Monday.
HMSDC is part of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Academic Medical Centre, an entity of Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC).
HMSDC is an education and training facility for physicians, nurses, research scientists, and health professionals in the region.
DHCC is part of the healthcare portfolio of Tatweer, a Dubai developer launched four years ago.
UAE-based Al Naboodah Contracting Company is a member of Al Naboodah Construction Group, which is carrying out construction projects for DHCC.
