SanDisk has opened a ‘memory centre’ within retail partner Emax’s latest Dubai showroom, which it hopes will make it easier for customers to buy its products.
The centre, based at the Emax Oasis Centre store, offers a dedicated area where customers can browse its range of flash memory cards and USB flash drives, while providing them with the information they need to make their purchasing decisions.
Tareq Husseini, sales director for the Middle East and Africa at SanDisk, claims the centre will give customers a “direct experience” when sourcing memory products.
He said: “Consumer electronics are becoming increasingly advanced and the strategy behind the SanDisk memory centre is to create a comfortable environment where customers can educate themselves about the latest technology. At the centre, trained staff will show consumers how to unlock the full potential of their devices — or wake up their phones, as we like to say.”
Emax’s recently-opened Oasis Centre store is its eleventh in the region, although the retailer harbours plans to triple that number in the coming years.
