Nvidia-based VGA and motherboard maker Zotac has broken into the Saudi market with the appointment of Al Hasoob as its local distribution partner.

Al Hasoob will be responsible for promoting and distributing the vendor’s product set to its countrywide network of independent dealers and IT resellers.

Mohammed Ibrahim, regional manager at Zotac International, believes the tie-up will give it the foothold it has been looking for in the kingdom.

“Al Hasoob is a wel- known and trusted name, and a reputed distributor of some of the best-known technology brands in Saudi,” he said. “With its established reputation, market knowledge, reach and expertise, Al Hasoob is an ideal partner that will help grow Zotac’s market share and reach in the Kingdom.

Hong Kong-based Zotac is a leading global Nvidia AIC partner. It opened a Middle East office one year ago, operating with Sky Electronics as its sole distributor for the region.

Al Hasoob, which also serves as a partner for HP, Acer, Dell and Intel, says it has been approached by other graphics cards manufacturers, but opted for Zotac due to the high performance and reliability of its VGA cards and motherboards.

“This, combined with its five-year warranty, which no other graphics card manufacturer offers, makes it a winning deal for all our customers,” said Sherif Abdul Fattah, executive manager at Al Hasoob.
