Kuwait-based Burgan Bank has announced details of its just launched Yawmi Account - an account that will also entitle customers who deposit 500 dinars for a period of one month to be eligible for a daily draw to win 5000 dinars.
The bank says customers now have a higher chance of winning as every 50 dinars deposited in the Yawmi Account for the stipulated period translates into one chance of entering the draw. Hence, the minimum 500 dinars deposit allows customers 10 entries to the draw daily, excluding weekends and public holidays.
''We have introduced the Yawmi Account in response to the increasing market demand for highly differentiated products which offer a higher frequency and incentive of winning,'' says Burgan Bank Chief Retail Banking Officer Simon Clements.
''Now, every single working day represents yet another chance of winning 5000 dinars. We invite customers to opt for this incentive to make the most from their savings and deposits.''
The Yawmi Account, which was launched Sunday, replaces the Burgan Surprises Account. All current Burgan Surprises Account-holders with deposits of 500 dinars and higher will be upgraded by default to the Yawmi Account upon request.
Not surprisingly the bank is urging all current Burgan Surprises account-holders with deposits of less that 500 dinars to increase their deposits to take advantage of the daily draw possibilities of the Yawmi Account. The first Yawmi Account draw will be held on May 14.
