Mobile phone users in Saudi Arabia are set to benefit from a new package announced by Zain that offers a 35 percent discount on all prepaid and postpaid lines.
The new scheme that launched on Monday is applicable for all local and international calls, plus SMS, video calls and Internet services, according to Saudi daily Arab News.
Ismael Fikry, executive head of Zain’s operation department, said: “This new package is part of Zain’s bigger plan of providing up-to-date services and promotions in the Kingdom.”
Zain’s Time Package subscribers would get to choose the time they want the discount to be effective with three options; 9am to 5pm, 5pm until 9pm or 9pm to 5am.
The user can change the timing after 30 days of subscription.
Zain has also launched a promotional campaign for this new service in which customers would get 50 percent discount instead of 35 percent for the first three months starting from the official launching date.
Subscription can be carried out through the different customer service centers across the Kingdom, the company added.
