Limitless has announced 250 plots of land are ready for handover to developers as work progresses on its Downtown Jebel Ali project.
Infrastructure work was on track and would continue as planned on the 200-hectare development, Limitless, a development arm of Dubai government-owned Dubai World, said in a release on Sunday.
A total of 122 developers bought land in the project
Dubai-based Cirrus Developments has begun construction of Celestial Heights, a three-tower complex in zone one of the project.
Limitless is developing The Galleries, an eight building complex of offices, apartments, retail and leisure facilities. More than 600 apartments, within four mixed-use towers forming part of the development, will be ready for lease by the end of 2009, Limitless said.
Spanning 11 kilometres along Sheikh Zayed Road, Downtown Jebel Ali is located between the Jebel Ali Free Zone and Techno Park.
