Jet Airways has boosted its Gulf network by introducing daily flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Mumbai, which will start operating on June 14, the airline said in a statement on Tuesday.
These cities will be Jet Airways' seventh and eighth destinations respectively, and Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be use don the routes.
"Jet Airways is delighted to introduce daily services to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Mumbai," said Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, the airline’s CEO.
"The introduction of these new flights will serve to further strengthen our Gulf network, better enabling us to offer passengers seamless connectivity and a world-class product on the Indo-Gulf sector," he added.
Flight 9W 524 will depart Mumbai at 1930 hrs, arriving in Riyadh at 2105 hrs.
Flight 9W 523 will then depart Riyadh at 2205 hrs, arriving in Mumbai at 0430 hrs.
Flight 9W 522 will depart Mumbai at 1900 hrs, arriving in Jeddah at 2130 hrs.
9W 521 will then depart Jeddah at 2230 hrs, arriving in Mumbai at 0610 hrs.
Jet Airways currently flies daily to Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Doha, Dubai and Abu Dhabi from several Indian cities.
