Cowen said the number of flights to Bahrain and Dubai will increase from two to three as of next month while direct flights from Dubai to Khartoum and Cochin will be halted.

Being a responsible airline, this cancellation is not jsutifiable as many people booked the ticket two months before and paid the money and made arrangements for summer vacation. Now we cannt take a new ticket as all the air lines doubled their ticket rate and there is no seats available. Then How can somebody trust an airline company. You should do some alternative arrangements for travel . paying a small compensation is not justifiable.

We planned our summer vacation 2 months ago and booked the flight to Cochin.
As a responsible airline, they should have informed and guided their customers who have already booked their ticket for this destination and paid them 2 months before!
Now hearing that we will get the refund after 35 days!
On what faith we will ever use this airline even to other destinations?
There will be 1000s of people who affected by this decision.

Jazeera has halted flights from Dubai to Cochin & Khartoum. Does it mean that Jazeera would be flying to Cochin & Khartoum directly from Kuwait or is it that there would be no more flights flying to Cochin & Khartoum.
Why is the website still having bookings opened, if the flights are cancelled?

What the article doesn't say is that as of last month, Jazeera's rights for direct flight from Dxb to Beirut have been revoked. All their flights now have to go via KWI. Also, as of June, if you try to book travel to Delhi from Dxb, all flights are via KWI. I'm sure there's going to be a lot of problems for their hub in Dxb as flydubai is coming in (with very high fares)! This is very bad news for us consumers.
