LG Electronics have launched a marketing campaign to find the new face of their latest Scarlet LCD television.

The first Scarlet TV, with a distinguishable red applied to the back of the device, was launched in 2008 by the company and boasted a slim 44.7mm measurement with related marketing collateral featuring a chic slender woman.

Now LG is launching a full HD version of the Scarlet at a record 39.7mm in the slim TV market. To tie in with the launch, the company is looking for a woman to represent the television and inviting ladies in the country to take part.

Those interested to participate can register online at ae.lg.com before May 24th, after which LG’s panel of judges will shortlist 50 women “with the right mix of intelligence, beauty and style”, its website states.

Five finalists will then be selected from the shortlist, with the general public finally voting to decide the new face of Scarlet.
