Technology distributor TDME — part of Aptec Holdings — recently conducted its first six-day Cisco Voice Boot Camp for selected partners from Gulf countries.

Cisco partners hailing from the UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar were invited to attend the event, which took place at the Aptec head office in Dubai, on merit and level interest in advance technologies.

Shailendra Sainani, deputy general manager at TDME, says that the intensive channel training week comprehensively boosted the skillsets and value added service capabilities of all partners that took part.

"In addition to the pre-sales and post-sales initiatives which are in place, it is our objective to provide value add, which would enable the partner to differentiate themselves in the market place,” said Sainani. “We are confident that the partners would benefit from this training and grow Cisco business and our market share in the region."

The training was conducted by a Cisco qualified voice trainer and the camp attendees were provided hands-on training on Cisco Unified communications. This, explains TDME, enables them to deploy, integrate and trouble-shoot solutions from the vendor including Cisco’s Call Manager, Meeting Place Express and Contact Centre Express.

On completion of the boot camp each member received a course certification from CCIE Voice Boot camp and TDME which enhances their proposition in front of the end-user.
