Intel Capital has selected two digital content companies from Jordan to invest in – Jeeran and ShooFeeTV. The initiative is part of the US $50 million Intel Capital Middle East and Turkey Fund, though the exact figure being invested was not disclosed.

His Excellency Eng. H.E. also outlined the importance of the content industry as a main driver of internet penetration, especially as it relates to local and Arabic content.
