MeMega launches retail operations in Saudi

Saudi systems integrator BT Applied Technology has announced a move into the retail sector, with the launch of a new outlet and online trading operation, MeMega.
MeMega has launched a new retail outlet at the La Terra Mall in Jeddah, along with a the www.memega.com portal to offer online sales in the Kingdom.
The retailer says that it will be offering over 1,000 products in the IT and consumer electronics sector, with many of them coming to the Kingdom for the first time.
Amr Taher, founder of MeMega and President of BTAT Group said: “The opening of MeMega’s outlet comes as a move to strengthen our position in the market and provide our services, so we can become a major player in the Information Technology sector in the region in general, and in Saudi Arabia in particular.
“In order to provide the market with the latest technological and electronic products, we have signed with many of the largest global modern technology providers such as Dell, HP, Acer, and others, as well as other products that will be entering the Kingdom for the first time and exclusively for MeMega such as Alienware, Flybook, Hardcore Computers, and many others,” he added.
Among the highlights of the retailer’s opening activities will be the launch of the Gravitonus Game Chair, an ergonomic workstation that can be configured around the user, with onboard lighting and 5.1 surround sound system, that will be available exclusively through MeMega.
