MORE FLIGHTS: Royal Jordanian are increasing frequency on some routes due to demand.

Royal Jordanian Airlines is increasing flight frequencies on several destinations this summer, it announced on Sunday.

The Jordanian carrier said services to Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bahrain will be increased in June to meet rising demand for travel between Amman and these cities.

Meanwhile, the airline has added a new service to Beirut, increasing daily flights to Lebanon’s capital to four and weekly operations between the cities to 28.

Hussein Dabbas, Royal Jordanian’s vice president of marketing, sales and services, said flights to Beirut were extended following increased interest in the route.

The additional flight will leave Amman at 4pm and arrive in Beirut at 5pm. The return leg departs at 5.45pm, touching down in Amman at 6.35pm.

Beirut was one of the first destinations that Royal Jordanian operated to, with regular flights available from 1963.
