Etisalat and Nokia target corporate customers with new package

Etisalat and Nokia have partnered to offer a new mobile internet package that enables business customers to access their email accounts using Nokia’s Mail for Exchange application and browse the internet for a fixed rate.

Etisalat will offer the Nokia E75, Nokia E71 and Nokia E66 mobile device with unlimited email and internet access for AED 195 per month.

Net access will be capped at 1 GB, with volume discounts also offered to companies looking to reduce their total cost of ownership. For more information, visit the Etisalat website.

Corporate customers whose companies use Microsoft Exchange Server can set up Nokia Mail for Exchange for free on the Nokia devices without paying additional integration fees. Once the application is set up, users get real-time access to their office email, calendar, contacts, tasks and company directory over a secure connection.

With this competitive solution that we are offering, along with the Nokia’s easy email set-up, Etisalat is extending the convenience and productivity benefits of mobile email to an even wider audience backed by the outstanding quality of Etisalat’s 3.5G HSPA network that covers more than 99% of the population at 7.2Mbps,” said Abdulla Hashim, VP of Business Solutions at Etisalat.

Thats way too overpriced. You could get unlimited internet access, email access, mobile tv access, free calling minutes and texts in the UK for that price! AND ALSO A FREE HANDSET! why is U.A.E SO overpricd?
