This year’s Sound & Stage Awards once again recognised the best talent working in the Middle East pro audio, lighting and live staging production industries.

Outstanding achievements in the field of live events production, technical installations and audio and lighting technology ranked amongst the winners. Technology awards went to MA Lighting for its grandMA2 lighting control console and Midas for its Midas Pro6 Live Audio System, while the Dubai Mall mega project received an honourable mention in two install categories, with Barco taking out the AV Installation Project of the Year award and Oasis Enterprises being granted the lighting install award for its work on the mall’s Dubai Aquarium.

In the individual award categories, Delta Sound Dubai’s Martin Ward took out the Sound Engineer of the Year award, Gearhouse Staging Connection’s Dave Emery received the OHS Champion award.
