Dar Al-Handasah standardizes on Lenovo workstations

Engineering and design practice Dar Al-Handasah has rolled out over 500 Lenovo Workstations and ThinkStation workstations at its Cairo office.

The company has standardized on Lenovo solutions to ensure that it can easily administer its workstation solutions for it professional teams, and to expand easily as required.

The solutions deployed in Lenovo’s high-end ThinkStation workstation, plus mobile workstations. The company chose Lenovo solutions for the large number of certifications for configurations of graphics cards and operating systems, to enable the company to run popular applications such as Autodesk’s AutoCAD.

The company will also make use of the Lenovo ThinkVantage Technologies, that help improve support for users, and enable of image creation and ongoing image management; system migration and deployment assistance. The workstations also offer a one-button Rescue Recovery solution, to restore important files and data instantly.

Mahmoud Amin Ismail, Dar (Cairo office) IT Manager, Dar Al-Handasah commented: “Every measurement and angle counts in our industry. Our benchmark tests indicate that Lenovo workstations are built powerful and therefore run the certified design software faster and more reliably, so our clients receive the highest quality deliverables on time, throughout their projects.
