Emirates Airline is set to launch A380 services to Paris next year following strong demand for flights to the French capital.
The Dubai carrier said it is deploying the super-jumbo on its 8am daily morning flight, which arrives in Paris at 12.25pm local time, from Feb. 1.
“This is really great news for us to bring the A380 to Paris and is a result of such encouraging sales in and out of Paris Charles de Gaulle,” said Emirates president Tim Clark.
“Our plans to introduce this exceptional aircraft have been accelerated by almost a year which, in the current economic climate, is a major achievement."
The airline deployed two of its five A380s on flights to Bangkok and Toronto earlier this month after removing the super-jumbo from its New York service. London Heathrow, Sydney and Auckland are also served by the double-decker aircraft.
In the coming years, Emirates is expected to add a further 53 super-jumbos to its fleet.
Facilities on the A380 for first class passengers include shower spas, a lounge serving canapés and refreshments, and social areas.
Emirates operates flights to destinations across Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian subcontinent and Asia-Pacific.
