Dell has boosted its enterprise technology portfolio, with an expanded lineup of virtualisation and high-performance computing (HPC) offerings.

The Austin, Texas-based technology giant has released a new batch of PowerEdge servers and EqualLogic PS4000 storage arrays, which comes in several different drive configurations, ranging from the PS4000E that supports 7,400 revolutions-per-minute (RPM) Serial ATA, the PS4000X which supports 10,000 RPM Serial Attached SCSI, and the PS4000XV which supports 15,000 RPM Serial Attached SCSI.
