Gulf viewers can watch Jackson memorial live

Gulf viewers will be able to watch Michael Jackson’s memorial service in Los Angeles live on television and online, broadcasters say.
Fans will be able to see tributes paid to the late popstar, who died after suffering cardiac arrest at his rented home on June 25.
Broadcasters CNN, Channel V and Star World have announced the timings of their live coverage for viewers in the region.
Television coverage will begin on CNN at 7pm, UAE time (6pm Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait time) with a special pre-recorded show. Live coverage will begin at 8pm.
Online CNN.com journalists will blog live from Los Angeles throughout the day, Gulf News reported. Live web coverage will begin at 3.30pm and repeated again at 11pm and 2am.
Star World and Channel V announced they will also broadcast live from the service.
Channel V will launch its live feed from 8.55pm and Star World will begin broadcasting at 9pm.
Millions of people are expected to tune in to this historic event, which will take place at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
Some 17,500 people are expected to attend, out of a total of 1.6 million people who registered in the online lottery for the event.
