Agility wins $643.5m US military Afghan deal

Kuwait-based Agility has been awarded a US army contract worth $643.5m for logistics support in southern Afghanistan.

The firm won the deal with DynCorp International (DCP) and CH2M Hill under its existing LOGCAP IV contract.

A statement released on Monday said: “The task order value is $643.5m for the one-year base period. The award also includes four one year option periods with a total evaluated value of $5.874bn.”

DCP was named as the main contractor, while Agility and CH2M HILL are subcontractors.

Under this contract the team will provide existing bases within the Afghanistan-South Area of Responsibility with operations and maintenance support, including electrical power, water, sewage and waste management as well as laundry operations and food services.

In addition, the team will provide various construction services for additional sites.

This is the third contract awarded to the team, which already provides services at Udairi Army Airfield in Kuwait.
