Taiwanese-based HTC Corp. has released its latest full-QWERTY smartphone in the Middle East that focuses on messaging and communication ease and directly competes with the Nokia E75 that was launched in February this year.

Available at all major retail stores in the country for AED 1,599, the HTC Snap comes with a number of productive features including remote synchronisation with email, calendar and contacts through the Microsoft Exchange server and an ‘Inner Circle’ key which, when pressed, brings emails from a pre-selected group of people to the top of their inbox so that important emails can be accessed first.

It is designed to deliver nearly nine of talk time on a single charge, but is only equipped with a 2 megapixel camera. In comparison, the E75 also comes with direct access to Microsoft Exchange but features a 3.2 megapixel camera and costs approximately AED 2,300.
