Toshiba channel scheme gets fourth airing

Toshiba has confirmed that its ‘Sell and Win’ channel programme will run for a fourth time, giving the sales staff of channel partners a further opportunity to earn rewards for the volume of equipment they sell.

The UAE-based incentive scheme was created to motivate channel sales personnel and reward them for driving Toshiba’s sales growth in the region. Unlike channel programmes that offer bonuses to the organisation, the initiative recognises the individuals behind the transactions.

“Toshiba takes account of the outstanding performance and effort exerted by floor sales staff to sell Toshiba notebooks,” insisted Santosh Varghese, regional general manager at Toshiba, adding that channel staff will be offered several opportunities to win attractive prizes under the new scheme. “The Sell and Win Incentive Programme allows us to show value and commendation to the very core people driving growth to our brand.”

Toshiba launched the programme in the UAE this time last year and believes it has proved to be a good barometer of its channel engagement activities in the country.

“This incentive scheme is tied directly into sales, so its measurability will be a key component of our marketing implementation strategy,” said Varghese. “A motivated sales force is, of course, great news for our channel partners. With satisfied consumers buying our innovative products, sales staff also reap the rewards.”
