Minerva CEO Alexander Allen.

Mobile broadband distributor Minerva has begun pushing Motorola’s two-way radio products and accessories in the Middle East following the recent extension of a regional agreement between the pair.

Minerva will provide sales and technical expertise around Motorola’s two-way radio portfolio, which contains a variety of solutions for small businesses and government agencies seeking business-critical response technology.

The vendor’s array of portable and mobile two-way radios and pagers offers solutions that are designed to better enable organisations to efficiently communicate with their on-the-go workforce.

“Minerva has the skill set to help Motorola grow its two-way radio business within the region,” promised Alexander Allen, CEO at the distributor. “Being the most specialised wireless company in the region, Minerva has the technical expertise in house to assist our partners in design and delivery of their solutions. We are dedicated to developing long-term customer relationships by providing superior service and support, combined with Motorola’s innovative technologies that advance the way the world connects.”

Laurent Tribout, Motorola’s director of sales for the Middle East and Africa, says the company has sold more than 200,000 digital professional radios globally in the past two years, and he hopes the partnership with Minerva will boost its volumes further.

“Minerva is a trusted partner and we are confident that they can continue this momentum. This agreement underscores the long-term commitment between Minerva and Motorola,” he stated.
