CAD Gulf bags Belkin distribution rights

Youssef El-Arif says the tie-up with CAD Gulf is designed to improve the vendor's coverage of the corporate market.

Connectivity devices and accessories vendor Belkin has signalled its intent to target the SMB and enterprise market by hiring CAD Gulf as an authorised distributor for its commercial products.

CAD Gulf, which provides solutions from vendors such as HP, Oracle and CA, will market Belkin’s range of hardware to organisations in the UAE and develop its footprint in the country.

“Together, we aim to further develop our commercial solutions offering to the SMB and enterprise market,” stated Youssef El-Arif, national account manager for the Middle East and Africa at Belkin. “Working with CAD GULF will enable Belkin to reach out to our customers and comprehensively address the SMB and enterprise segments with our wide range of commercial products across the region.”

Belkin claims Dubai-based CAD Gulf’s links to SMB and corporate dealers in the market remain a key reason why it awarded the company distribution rights.

Walid Saab, general manager at CAD Gulf, insists the tie-up is a boost to its portfolio. “We are extremely confident of our partnership and truly believe that Belkin’s diverse range of innovative, commercial products is a perfect offering to our regional customer base,” he said. “We will support the Belkin brand to help expand its local presence in the SMB and enterprise market.”
