Kuwait bourse to shorten trading hours in Ramadan

Daily trading hours will be shortened on the Kuwait stock exchange during the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, the bourse said in a statement on its website on Tuesday.

The market will open at 10:40 am (11.40am UAE time) and close at 12:45 pm (01.45pm UAE time) during Ramadan, which starts around Aug 21 this year.

What is the point ? So 2 hours and 5 minutes of trading....and Kuwait wants to be a regional financial centre...dream on !
