Budget carrier Air Arabia has said its three star hotel at Sharjah Airport will open its doors in April next year.
The concrete structure for all four floors of the 300-room Centro Hotel has been completed and the hotel is anticipated to be completed below budget, the airline said.
"Centro by Rotana at the Sharjah Airport is a key element of Air Arabia's expansion strategy," said chief executive Adel Ali.
“In addition to enhancing the services offered by Air Arabia, the hotel will also strengthen ancillary revenues."
Air Arabia announced the launch of the Centro Hotel in early 2007 following the signing of a management agreement with Rotana Hotels under the Centro by Rotana brand.
