An Indian old man who was already suffering from severe respiratory and lung infections and A(H1N1) - swine flu- has died to become the first person in the UAE to succumb to the disease, the health ministry has announced.
The 63-year old victim had gone too late to a hospital where he was diagnosed with the infections along with the A(H1N1) symptoms and was treated but passed away because of the progression of the disease, newswire WAM reported.
The ministry called on the public to immediately go to a hospital or a clinic upon exhibiting any of the A(H1N1) flu symptoms, it added.
