Bahrain's Ahli United Bank will repay $400m of a $1.2bn syndicated loan by the end of August, which is one month ahead of schedule, the bank said in a statement on Saturday.
The three-year loan facility, in which 51 banks took part, was signed in October 2006, the bank said in the statement. The bank secured a $800 million refinancing for the loan last September, it said. (Reuters)
