Extension announced to Arab Technology Awards

Due to a last-minute rush of entries, the deadline for the 2009 Arab Technology Awards has been extended to next Sunday – August 30.

This year’s edition of the region’s most prestigious enterprise event is set to be held at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, in conjunction with GITEX Technology Week. Over 400 industry professionals and end-users are expected to be in attendance to honour the Middle East’s top vertical IT projects, CIOs and vendors.

This year, sixteen categories are available to nominate in, including the new “Green Implementation of the Year”, which has already met with a strong response from both vendors and end-users alike. Nomination forms are available at the event website, including guidelines for entries.

If you’re a vendor, system integrator, service provider or end-user, don’t delay to send in your nomination – there are just six says left.
