Qatari health officials have confirmed the country’s second swine flu death.

The patient was a 40 year-old Nepalese man, who died at the Al Khor Hospital after becoming infected with the H1N1 virus.

An official statement by the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), reported in the Peninsula, said he had been in hospital for five days and had developed a high fever, coughing and vomiting.
