Lufthansa German Airlines has announced it will start a daily service from Bahrain to Frankfurt this month.
Currently the airline runs four weekly flights from the kingdom to the German city, but will increase the service to every day from September 22.
Four of the flights will be non-stop to Frankfurt, while the remaining three will have a midway stop in Dammam.
For business travelers in particular the flexibility that comes with the new daily service is key and we are glad to provide it,” said Stefan Loecherbach, director of Lufthansa and subsidiary Swiss International Air Lines, for Saudi Arabia & Bahrain.
From October 6, the Bahrain-Dammam service will be operated by a new Boeing 737-800, Lufthansa said in a statement on Sunday.
Lufthansa German Airlines flies to 206 destinations in 78 countries from its hubs in Frankfurt and Munich.
