Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates announced on Sunday its occupancy rates for July and the first 15 days of August were 92 percent.
The figure represents an increase of four percent, compared to the same period the year previous, the hotel chain said in a statement.
"Special offers and activities during Dubai Summer Surprises at the hotel and adjoining Ski Dubai and Mall of the Emirates helped position the venue as the ultimate leisure destination and this translated into a very healthy occupancy rate, said Holger Schroth, general manager.
In 2008, the hotel saw 88 percent occupancy for July and the first half of August, Schroth said.
The majority of guests staying at the hotel were from the UAE. While across the GCC, the country with the highest number of guests booking rooms was Saudi Arabia, followed by Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain.
