Saudi shares end lower after 10-day rally

Heavyweight petrochemical and banking stocks led Saudi shares to their first negative close in 11 sessions as the market gears up for the announcement of quarterly earnings.
The all-share TASI index closed 0.9 percent lower at 6,265 points after accumulating gains of 10.7 percent over the previous ten sessions.
The petrochemical and banking and financial indices lost 1.5 percent each.
Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) ended 1.6 percent lower and Al-Rajhi Bank closed 1.7 percent down.
