Media company launches ops in UAE, Qatar, Oman

ADVERTISING MOVE: th1ng and th2ng are to open offices in the UAE, Oman and Qatar.

An award-winning London film, TV and advertising production company announced on Thursday it is to launch operations in the Middle East.

Through a partnership with IMC, part of the Al Fahim Group, th1ng and th2ng will open offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha and Muscat, the company said in a statement.

“Our partnership with IMC and Al Fahim provides the Gulf’s leading brands and businesses with immediate access to a wide range of directing and designing talent, as well as supports and services the creative and production needs of their advertising, public relations and design agencies,” said Dominic Buttimore, Group CEO of th1ng.

Working in all types of media since 2003, th1ng specialises in 2D/3D animation and graphics while th2ng works in live action.

th2ng has directed and produced TV commercials for Team Y&R’s Dubai offer to promote Rani, the leading juice drinks brand with real fruit pieces in the Middle East, which are currently airing across the region.

th1ng is currently directing a new commercial to reinforce ACDelco’s global leadership in automotive replacement parts for airing at the F1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, the company added.
